Tongits Kingdom is a popular mobile app version of the classic Filipino card game, Tongits.
The goal of the game is to form sets or "melds" of three or more cards of the same rank and suit, such as three 9s of hearts or three Jacks of spades. Players can also form meld called "Secret Meld" which consist of Four of a Kind or Straight Flush
On every turn, players can draw one card from the deck or pick up one card from the discarded pile. They can then either form melds with their cards, add cards to existing melds, or discard one card to the discard pile. The game continues until one player wins by either going "Tongits" (having a meld of zero point value with
all cards exposed) or having the lowest point value remaining in their hand when the deck runs out.
In Tongits Kingdom, players can also participate in fights and challenges with other players to gain an advantage. A fight is initiated by placing a meld on the table and no player dropping a card on it during the round. A challenge is initiated by a player who believes they have the lowest point value remaining in their hand.
◆Service Fee
The system deducts 5% of the winner's winnings as a service fee.
1.Tongits is a game played by 3 players using a deck of 52 standard playing cards. Each player starts with 12 cards, except for the starting player who has 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the central stack.
2.At the beginning of each game, the cards will be shuffled. After determining the starting player, the system will deal the cards clockwise while the players play counterclockwise.
3.The starting player is randomly selected for the first game, while the winner of the previous game goes first in the second game. If the starting player quits during a game, a new starting player will be randomly selected in the next round.
4.When it is the player's turn, the player's avatar will show a countdown which if it ends and the player has not played any card, the system will automatically dump the highest card.
5.After the previous player dumped the card. If this card can be grouped by the next player's card, the player can choose to take the dumped card or draw a new card from the draw pile. If this card could not be grouped, the next player will get a card from the draw pile.
6.Next, the player must collect any possible hand melds and discard any unnecessary cards. The process of picking and discarding cards continues until a player wins by declaring "Tong-its", calling a draw, or until there are no more cards left in the central stack. If the central stack runs out, points will be calculated from
the cards in their hands, and the player with the lowest total score wins. In the case of a tie, the player who drew the last card from the central deck is declared as the winner.
7.Cards that can be added to all exposed sets of cards cannot be discarded.
8.When each countdown ends, if the player has not taken any action, the system will automatically draw a card or discard one. For offline players, the system will take over and perform the draw or discard actions on behalf of the offline player.
1.Melds are sets of cards that are grouped together in a specific way. While melds do not directly contribute points to a player's score, they are an important part of the game strategy. This is because certain melds can help players to reduce the point count in their hand by allowing them to get rid of high-scoring cards.
In a Tongits duel, players may try to form sets and melds to gain an advantage over their opponents. However, if a player does not have any sets or melds in the show card or special card during a duel, their cards will be burned.
2.Types of meld:
Sets: A set consists of three cards of the same rank. For example, a set can be made up of three Kings, three 7s, or three Aces.
Run: A run consists of three or more cards of consecutive ranks in the same suit. For example, a run can be made up of 3♥️, 4♥️, and 5♥️, or 8♠️, 9♠️, 10♠️, and J♠️.
Three of a Kind: three equally ranked cards
Four of a Kind: four cards of the same rank/number
Straight Flush: At least three consecutive cards of the suit.
Secret Meld: Four cards of the same rank or five or more consecutive card of the same suit.
At the end of the game, a player with a Secret Meld in their hand will not have their cards burned.
If a player contains only normal meld sets and there are no exposed sets on the table, they are not allowed to initiate a Fight or Challenge.
A player with a Secret Meld can participate in a Fight initiated by another player, even if they have no exposed sets on the table.
Try to play all your cards as quickly as possible before the remaining cards are depleted. The fewer cards in your hand, the lower the total point value, and the greater the chance of winning.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
◆Tongits
If a player can put all their cards in the open area or discard them all, and the total point value of the meld is 0,then the player wins with Tongits.
◆Fight
To start a fight, the player needs to put down a meld onto the table, and no player drops any card on any of his/her meld in that round.
◆Challenge
When a player initiates a fight, if there is a meld on the show cards or a player has a special card, another player can challenge. Players can accept or fold. If a player fails to choose either accept or fold, after the countdown, the system will automatically fold the player's card.
◆Burned

◆Early Exit & Disconnection

If a player disconnects or leaves during this time, the system will take over until the player reconnects to the game. After each match, there is a 10 seconds preparation period for the next
match. If a player does not prepare within 10 seconds, they will automatically exit the room.
